I had never found it so difficult to write a Statement about myself, I guess cuz I had never had to answer the questions I've got to answer now.

I'm trying to apply for british unis for this next year as an international student, and in the UCAS page they ask you to write a statement explaining why you wanna take a certain grade and why do you think you'd make agood student for that course and why do you wanna study int he UK and things like that.

And I've read like a million examples, and oh are they poetic.

I'm sorry I can't write poetic stuff without making if sound awfully bad, but that's just me, isn't it? I'm not a poetic person-meaningful and everything but rather graphical, not poetic.
I envy those who are capable of sitting in front of a blank paper and write a funny yet serious and poetic personal statement that's so great that will send them straight to uni.

Why does this sound like I'm being all pessimistic and whiny? I'm not, promise-

UUuuuh I seriously don't know what to write. I have been sitting in front of a blank notepad file for like half an hour.

I get the "why do you wanna study this" part and the "why do you think you'd be a good professional" one, but then I get to the skills and achievements one and then I'm stuck.
Basically because I've done so many things that are not important at all but of which I'm proud-[setting up our rugby team, animation and art summer courses, winning english contests, being student's representative in high school, learning how to play guitar on my own...- so you see, a collection of unimportant/irrelevant stuff that I've done and i'm proud of and will not impress the statement people.

Other than that the rest of the statement is quite easy -for me at least- but anyway, I'm off to write it.
See what I can do.
